An haifi Jagoran Harkar Musulunci, Shaikh Ibraheem Yaƙoub Zakzaky
a cikin birnin Zariya, a ranar Talata 15 ga Sha’aban 1372 (May, 1953).
Iyayensa Malaman Al-Ƙur'ani ne, suna karantarwa da kuma yin noma a matsayin hanyar gudanar da rayuwa. Don haka Shaikh Zakzaky yana tasowa ya fara karatun Al-Ƙur'ani a wajen Mahaifinsa.
A daidai lokacin da yake karatun Al-Ƙur'ani a wajen mahaifinsa, an kuma saka shi a wata makarantar Al-Ƙur'ani a lokaci guda, yana zuwa makaranta yana kuma yin karatu a gida. Sannan kuma yana raka mahaifinsa tare da ‘yan uwansa zuwa gona don aiki.
